Ringwise Voice
A human-sounding AI phone receptionist that answers in British English, with no recordings and no transcripts.
Ringwise Voice answers a phone line in natural British English. A caller rings a Twilio number, and the audio is streamed to Amazon Nova Sonic on Bedrock, which talks back in real time and calls tools to look up free slots, book, or take a message.
The demo persona is a fictional clinic, Riverside Medical Practice, with fake data only. It is a showcase of the technique, not a product: nothing is sold.
Design choices
- No call recordings and no transcripts. Logs are built from an allowlist of keys, so conversation content cannot reach them by accident.
- Tool inputs are strict schemas. A field such as a reason for a visit or a medication name is rejected before any code runs.
- A deterministic emergency rule runs alongside the model and points callers to 999 or 111.
- Hard limits on call length, calls per caller per day and total minutes per day.
